According to Madan24, the LC is related to block3 of Tabas Parvadeh 4 project which was stagnant for a decade, Mehdi Karbasian said.
Deputy of Industry, Mine and Trade Minister added:” The purpose of this project is to add 750KT coal production capacity to block 3 of Tabas parvadeh4.This project will lead to 600 direct and up to 2400 indirect employments”.
He noted: “The project was approved by the Chinese government and has been introduced as one of projects in priority to be financed”.
Karbasian declared that the project’s finance is 556 million Chinese Yuan. Based on the contract IMIDRO should pay 15% for prepayment and is ready to pay 50% of it right now”.
